Purified fibrillar Type I bovine collagen + bioactive glass granules + Resorbable 60% hydroxyapatite and 40% tricalcium phosphate granules.
Our xFuse Bioactive Glass implants when hydrated with patient bone marrow aspirate (BMA), becomes both osteoinductive and osteoconductive. Our technology is safe and has excellent biocompatibility and handling carateristics. Once implanted, it resorbs over time and is later replaced by the patients natural bone.
xFuse Bioactive Glass technology is a natural choice for sparing patients the trauma of autograft harvesting and is an excellent alternative to Allografts.
Indications
xFuse Bioactive Glass implants combined with either BMA, blood, autogenous bone marrow or autograft and is indicated for bony voids or gaps, that are non load bearing; xFuse Bioactive Glass Strips can also be used with autograft or allografts as a bone graft extender and can be molded and packed into bony voids or gaps. Over time the device resorbs and is replaced with bone during the healing process.
